... I bought one of these for my wife for Christmas (07 - this is a delayed review.) We liked it very much, so she bought me one for our anniversary a couple of months later.
Then the first one began freezing up. After cycling the power, it will restart. Freezes at 4 or 5 different places. Note that it ran for three months before freezing, so it is unlikely due to format issues, file names, etc as others have mentioned, though I have tried some of the tips anyhow. Useless.
Then the other frame went. Started with a redish color in the lower left corner and went downhill from there. Now, sometimes it doesn't work at all, sometimes it is all red. Sometimes it runs okay for a short while and then dies.
These are not inexpensive products! It is outrageous that a brand like Westinghouse would put out products this unreliable. ...
