... Cons: The box says the photo has an auto-play option. There is no such option. You can't just plug in and go. If the power fails your frame will be left at a menu and you have to push three buttons to get a slideshow to start.
The nextar website is ridiculously slow.
You can view the firmware version on the frame but there's no information on any updates on the nextar website.
Navigation on the frame is confusing. You can easily delete all the photos on the frame's internal memory.
You can rotate a photo on the frame but only in single photo view mode. During a slideshow the picture will show with the wrong orientation.
If you put a memory card in, that overrides the pictures on the internal memory.
You can copy items to the internal memory but not from it.
Not a very good gift unless the person is tech savvy.
Pros: Nice display for the price. It's best to setup your photos in the proper orientation/size before putting them on the frame/memory card.
Can be powered by USB.
